Welcome to the website of the Lucille Werner Foundation. On this website, you can find information about the initiatives, projects and objectives of the Lucille Werner Foundation.

In 2006 and 2007, Lucille Werner initiated a beauty pageant for young women with physical disabilities and in 2008 and 2009, she initiated the CAPawards for special talents with disabilities. Lucille also launched in 2009 the first Cappies, the junior edition of the CAPawards, especially for children below the age of 14. The program was a succes and returned on the television in 2010 and 2011. 

The television shows were all very successful and viewed by millions of people. The shows all contributed to a positive image of people with disabilities.
